I'm Lucy, the founder of The Wave Academy. With a decade of experience as a competitive swimmer and another 10 years dedicated to teaching, I've learned first-hand that confidence in the water is built both on skill and fun.

Transitioning from competitive swimming to coaching, I discovered the joy of helping others learn this incredible life saving skill even more rewarding. At The Wave Academy. I combine my love for the sport with a nurturing playful approach that makes every lesson fun.
